Virtual College Fair

All Juniors! Join MHS for our first annual Virtual College Fair on May 6 from 8:30 -12:30 pm

 

Students will be able to connect one-on-one with representatives from top colleges and universities nationwide. This event is virtual, so all you need is a device and internet connection. On the day of the event simply log in and "get in line" to chat with a recruiter. Remember, you can get in line with multiple colleges at a time.

How it works: During the event, you will be paired in a one-on-one, timed, text-based conversation with representatives from attending colleges in a text based conversation. It's fun, it's easy and you'll get to meet some great colleges and get your questions answered! Get in line for one or many colleges or universities during the event at a time.  

 

REMEMBER: You must register IN ADVANCE! 

Please note that you may not miss a regularly scheduled class to attend the Virtual Fair on May 6th!

Chats will need to be arranged during your free period!

Last call for college banner pictures

Last call to all seniors who want to have their picture on the college banners.

TUESDAY MAY 5th after school in the theater lobby. Wear your college shirt !!

SAT/ ACT

To all the students who are taking the SAT tomorrow..... GOOD LUCK!!!
Make sure you bring your admissions ticket and photo id and make sure you read the admissions ticket so you know what time to be there and what else you would need to bring with you.

For those students who want to sign up for the JUNE test dates hurry and sign up soon. Deadlines are approaching!!

SAT test date JUNE 6 the deadline to sign up is MAY 8

***ACT test date JUNE 13  the deadline to sign up is MAY 8***

*** Middletown High School is not a test center site. You will need to have to sign up to go to another test center site.

Would you like to be on one of the banners that are hanging outside in the parking lot? Have you made your decision on which college you are attending for the fall??  Do you have your college shirt???

Sign up in the main office meet after school either Wednesday, Thursday or Friday after school 2:30pm- 3:30pm.

Welcome Back!!

We hope that you had a relaxing break.

The College and Career Center is here to make appointments with ALL grades. If you need help finalizing applications, starting your college search or researching careers come stop by and make an appointment.

Just a few dates to keep in mind.

April 15 College and Career Open House @ 5:30 pm:  Come and meet the College and Career Advisors, see the College and Career Center and learn about the Naviance program that we use with students to do college searches.

April 22 Jump Start Program @6:00 pm: A program for middle school students to learn about how to get a jump start on their college journey.

April 29 College Fair:  All 9th -11th grade students will be invited down to attend the College Fair.

** At SUNY Orange at 7:00 pm there will be a college fair that parents may attend with their students.

Career Day

Come join us on Thursday, March 26th during the lunch periods for our 7th Annual Career Day.
We will have a variety of careers that you can discuss with the professionals about their career. It will be held outside of the cafeteria.
