We are back!! and 6th Annual College Fair

We apologize for not being able to update our blog... we were under some technical difficulty!!! We are glad to be back!!



Just to let you know that MHS will be hosting our 6th Annual College Fair on WEDNESDAY MAY 1!!!
We have over 90 colleges signed up to speak with our students. Students will be called down by their grade to visit with the colleges.


Later on at night there is the Orange County College Fair at SUNY Orange's field house.
There will be over 100 colleges at that fair. It is MAY 1 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Don't forget that tonight Wednesday April 17, 2013 is the College and Career Center's OPEN HOUSE!
It will be at MHS from 5:30 pm- 7:30 pm!

College and Career Center Open House

On Wednesday April 17 at 5:30- 7:30 pm, the College and Career Center is hosting an Open House. We are having a meet and greet with the College and Career Advisors and a presentation on our new program Family Connections!

Come and join us on Wednesday April 17 during the times 5:30 pm- 7:30 pm in the College and Career Center at the high school.

Welcome Back Everyone!!!

We hope that you had a nice break and you are relaxed and ready to finish the Spring semester!!!!!

We are almost full for our trip to Marywood University which is this Friday April 5!!!! Juniors and Seniors come see if you are able to attend the trip if you are interested!!!

April 10 is our Career Day!! During the lunch periods we will be having many different careers where you are able to ask professionals in the career you may be interested in!!

Seniors do not forget to keep going with your scholarships...deadlines are approaching!!!

Spring Break

We hope that you have a great and relaxing Spring Break!!

Seniors~ Make sure you are keeping up with your scholarship applications. Do not forget the deadlines!! If you have not yet visited any of the colleges that you have been accepted to, try to take a visit. You are going to have to make your decision soon :)  :)

Juniors~ Try to go on some college visits. Also do not forget to sign up for your SATs...

Interested in saving for College?

If you are interested in saving for college..... there are going to be workshops held at the High School and Thrall Library for you!
Myles Financial Services will be providing information session on how to save for college. You have 2 chances to attend:

April 10 from 6:00pm - 7:00pm at Middletown High School
April 11 from 6:30pm- 7:30pm at Thrall Library

Understanding Student Loans....

Tuesday 3/26 from 6-8, the YWCA is offering a free student loan workshop, open to Orange County women and girls. Janee J.J. Bricourt, Financial Advisor for Merrill Lynch is the speaker for the evening. Anyone who would like to sign up can call me at 845.561.8050 x17 or Danielle@ywca-orangecty.org.
