Financial Aid Information

Here is some Financial Aid Information for you:

On Wednesday January 21 at 6:00 pm  we are having a guest speaker from HESC to talk about the FAFSA form and financial aid information. All grades are welcomed to hear this valuable presentation. This event will be held in the Middletown High School Theater. 

A great tool that is offered from the HESC website is a Financial Aid Award Comparison Tool. This tool is to help you evaluate your financial aid packages and determine the bottom line cost – the difference between the cost of attendance and your financial aid package – for each college. It may surprise you that the school with the highest cost of attendance may not be the most expensive for you to attend!

HESC also is offering different Financial Aid Seminars. They are at different locations and have different topics.  Click here to find an event that you may want to go to.

Welcome Back and Happy New Year!!!

We hope that you had a nice break! The College and Career Center is open and ready to make appointments!!

Some up coming events that you should mark on your calendar:

January 8th @ 8:30am East Stroudsburg will be here visiting the College and Career Center. Sign up to meet with them!

January 14 @ 10:00am Johnson and Wales will be having an Admissions Day here. If you are a senior and you are interested in applying to Johnson and Wales please come to the College and Career Center to get more information.

January 21 @ 6:00pm we will be hosting our Financial Aid Night here at the high school. All grades are welcome to come and hear about the financial aid process. We will be having a guest speaker ( Michael Turner from HESC). If you have any questions please contact the College and Career Center.

Last Week before break

Seniors:

Make sure all of your information is to your counselor and sent to the colleges BEFORE  we leave for the break. Make sure all of the deadlines are met! If you have any questions make sure you swing by the College and Career Center or your counselor.

Juniors through Freshmen:

We are able to meet with you as well. If you have any questions please come and set up an appointment with us for when we return in the new year!

ACT Test

For those students that are taking the ACT this Saturday (December 13).... GOOD LUCK!!!

Don't forget your admissions ticket as well as your photo id !! You will need both.

Check you admissions ticket for the other materials you will need to bring (pens, pencils etc.)

Applications

Seniors if you have not completed your applications do so before we leave for break. Get them all done so you can enjoy your break.
