Senior Interviews

Attention Seniors!!

Senior Interviews are going to be happening soon!! You will be scheduling an appointment with your school counselor.  Parents are invited to attend!

See below the letter that is going to be sent out to you!

 

Dear Parent/Guardian:

The high school counselors are currently scheduling senior interviews.  Every senior will meet with his/her school counselor to review graduation requirements and college and post-graduate plans.  Courses and state examinations needed for graduation will be discussed and a senior graduation check sheet will be filled out.  This check sheet will be mailed home for your information and review.

Parents are welcome to take part in their child’s senior interview if desired.  Meetings will be held during the school day or immediately after school if necessary.  Please call the guidance office of your child’s House within the next week if you would like to attend the senior interview or have any questions.

Updates

TODAY ( THURSDAY OCTOBER 4)  IS THE DEADLINE FOR SAT REGISTRATION FOR THE NOVEMBER SAT!!
Don't forget to sign up for the SAT!

MHS is having a SAT prep class.  The class runs from 6pm- 8pm.
Please see Mr. Dailey in room 333 or Mr. Pollock in room 251 for any additional information.

Keep checking in with the College and Career Center for the updates on the colleges visiting us!

Since we are off on Monday October 8, try to visit a college campus you are interested in!!

High School Open House- October 2nd at 6pm

Please visit the College and Career Center during the MHS Open House.  We will be located in the front lobby.  We will be able to show you the fun and exciting activities we have going on in the center.  We look forward to meeting you.

Colleges Visiting MHS the week of September 24th

Moravian College will be visiting the College & Career Center on Monday, September 24th at 8:30am.

The College of Saint Rose will be visiting MHS on Friday, September 28th at 8:30am.

All MHS students are invited to visit  with the college representatives.  Please get a pass from the College & Career Center.

PACE, Johnson & Wales and SUNY Oneonta will be visiting the College & Career Center next week.  Don't forget to get a pass if you are interested in meeting with any of the college representatives!!!
